Your donations will be used to improve camping facilities and services in the Greater New York Councils and to help Scouts to have a life changing summer camp experience. Over 70% of Greater New York Councils Scouts receive some form of assistance to pay for camp. This is what is called a “Campership,” and now your donations can go directly to this important part of Scouting. Giving kids the opportunity to escape the city and get out into nature is an incredible gift, and while at camp Scouts learn teamwork, self-confidence, respect for the environment and helpfulness while building lasting friendships.
